22258VIC – Certificate IV in EAL (Further Studies) – duration 24 weeks

This course is designed for those who require consolidation of advanced level English speaking and listening, reading, writing, literacy skills including digital literacy skills, and study skills in English prior to accessing a range of further study pathways including higher education. Participants include those who have already completed or partially completed further or higher education, those who wish to upgrade their qualifications and those wishing to enter higher level qualifications for the first time. The purpose of this course is to develop communication and research skills and knowledge at a complex level together with knowledge of the Australian education system. Outcomes are designed to support those who will use their existing skills and knowledge in their language in the workplace, for example as interpreters and providing bilingual support, to gain access to further training to support employment.

Tuition fee & Refund

Enrolment Fee:

The enrolment fee of AU$200 is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Other Fees:

• Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the minimum of 14 months cover: AU$647 single, AU$2,325 dual family and AU$4,792 multi-family with a minimum of 1 kid (for detail visit: https://www.oshcallianzassistance.com.au/ )
• Airport Pickup: AU$110
• Homestay Placement Fee: AU$200 (Non refundable)
• Re Assessment Fee: AU$100 per Unit of Competency
• Re Issuing Fee of the COE: AU$50 each

Enrollment Cancellation/withdrawn and Refund

• Notification of Cancellation/Withdrawal from a course of study must be made in writing to AVTI with correct completion of course withdrawn and refund form
• In the event that AVTI cannot deliver this course, the ESOS Act 2000 and the ESOS regulations 2001 will apply.
• All refunds under this policy will be paid within 28 days after receiving a written notification from the student.
• Payment of refunds will be made in Australian dollars and non transferable to 3rd party.
• Enrolment fee charged is non-refundable. However, tuition fees may be refunded subject to refund policy
